Watt

I am happy to have joined Earth Hour last night.

Can we do Earth Hour atleast once every month or once in a quarter not just once a year? This will sure give a great leap to lessen global warming. Every watt counts!

Though I made a promise to only go in Boracay this year to celebrate new year next year I can't resist the idea of going to Caramoan. It was really inviting and the sceneries are really fascinating. In Gods will with my friends we will be there end of May 2011. So help us Papa God!

Ops are supposed to be in Galera today...right after our Sunday shift but due to unavoidable circumstance we will be just in Brazil Brazil next Saturday. I am so sorry to Grace of Dreamwave, we will still do business next time.

What are my high and lows this week?

High- We ate at Holy Cow! Meat lovers are so welcome and was able to bond with Momi Eve, hopefully she pass her US Scholarship (Skalarship!) application.
Low- I was late for 4 consecutive days! Bad Cheetah!
Another Low- I am riding a cab everyday and these drivers are all "money driven" tsk..tsk...I hate it! I'd rather ride a cab with P40 flag down than those who are not willing to give your change simply because "wala po ba kayong barya ma'am" tactic! kainis talaga!
Another Super Low- there is one tryke driver that I super hate..kainis talaga yun...laging overcharged pag ako sakay! I can't argue naman kase baka pag kaisahan nila ako incase mag-isa lang ako.
High- I now know yung ibang sakayan ng jeep going home!=)
Super high- gave my sister a new digicam.
Another high- my cc bill is cheaper than what I am expecting!
Super Low- ang init ngayon lately!
Super Super Low- triple play package.

If you think you can, you can!

An old man lived alone in a village. He wanted to spade his potato garden, but it was very hard work. His only son, who would have helped him, was in prison.

The old man wrote a letter to his son and mentioned his situation :

Dear Son,
I am feeling pretty bad because it looks like I won't be able to plant my potato garden this year. I hate to miss doing the garden, because your mother always loved planting time. I'm just getting too old to be digging up a garden plot. If you were here, all my troubles would be over. I know you would dig the plot for me, if you weren't in prison.

Love,

Dad

Shortly, the old man received this telegram :
"For Heaven's sake, Dad, don't dig up the garden !! That's where I buried the GUNS !!"

At 4 a.m. the next morning, a dozen FBI agents and local police officers showed up and dug up the entire garden without finding any guns.
Confused, the old man wrote another note to his son telling him what happened, and asked him what to do next.
His son's reply was :
"Go ahead and plant your potatoes, Dad... It's the best I could do for you from here."

Hyper Market

Happy Sunday morning everyone!

I'm still at work and is so looking forward for another wonderful weekend that will officially start at 10AM today as soon as I pressed star 35. Stats are good. 100 percent for sales and hopefully 103% for hours. Good job team! New team next cut off with added 3 newbies and I am hoping to do the same!

Yesterday was one of the happiest days of my supermarket life. I made a real grocery shopping! Hurray for me! Haha! Weird huh?! It was officially my first real grocery where I bought fish, chicken, pork...I even managed to get that butterfly cut porkchop! I filled my baskets (i opted for 2 baskets because those metal pushcarts are heavy) with veggies, condiments, noodles, sardines, corned beef, hotdogs, ham, eggs, bacon, rice and many many more! Good thing J was with me or else I will go beyond my budget. There are so many things to buy only if I have all the money to pay! Haha!
***
While at the grocery we were offered by Nestle for a free nutrition analysis (something like that)...and ofcourse as a sucker for freebies I did not let that opportunity pass...and here are the results:

BP: 80/50 (low blood)
Actual Weight: 109 lbs Desirable Body Weight: 113.9 (so my weight is perfectly compatible to my 5'3.5 inches height)
BMI: 19.4 (based on Body Mass Index (BMI) Table I am on a healthy weight)
Weight Circumference: 25.5! Winner!

Their recommendations:
Drink Nestle Fresh Milk 2 glasses per day
More liquid intake

darla

Iba talaga ang angas factor ng mga lalaki, they are full of confidence, kahit hindi gwapo nagiging mukhang gwapo. Kahit hindi maganda ang katawan nagiging parang may 6-packs! All because of confidence...that all women should have.

One quick thought

Sana naging Japan (minus the quake and tsunami), Singapore or Dubai ang Philippines para instead of us working for them they were the one working for us.
Ang lakas maka- 3rd world ng setting.
Night shift.
Mga pinoy nag-e-english.
3 american men floor walking and checking everything there is to see.

Nakalungkot kase nasa Pilipinas palang ganito na ang set up...what more for those who were working overseas?

Sabi nga, the system has been there before you came so live with it. But never forget to take pride on yourself. Don;t change the system because you cannot, just do your share, live fair and just.

Tolentino Compound

I was able to clean our room last night, and it was hard to discard things that were supposed to be part of your life! I felt bad that I have to say goodbye to my old bags, magazines and other stuff I have collected all these years. I placed them in a box and today, officially, wala na sila! Andun na kasama si Kuyang collector ng basura.

And I started reading again...I miss reading a lot...been so very busy for the past months...everything was so fast paced. Kahit ngayon, ang bilis ng mga araw. The next I know I am again busy preparing for Christmas.

Next week, we will be in Puerto Galera, Vob Ops teambuilding. I am so not ready for the summer this year. I started it very wrong kase. My skin are all uneven because of the climb I had last week. And it's not picture friendly to see that my knees are too dark and my left leg is whiter than my right and my arms...they are even darker than my knees! Haha! Kaya everyone, never ever go outdoor unprepared. No matter what happened never leave without a sunblock, an extra bottled water and ofcourse your digi cam with full battery!

BTW, we have installed our cable yesterday, it feels like home na.=) I changed the curtains and I washed some of our undies this morning. =)

Right now I am in our living room. J's sleeping in our bedroom. Ate ven's fixing something in our comfort room.

Our fridge now working, have not done groceries, need to make sure okey na si Kelvin before I buy anything. I bought him Feb 25 and so unfortunate me...may encountered problem si Kelvin. Some kelvinator guys will be here again later for another check up.

So far so good.

I have a quiet neighborhood. The live at door 3, and it was nice to see that I am living in a community with "normal lives!' ako palang ang nasa night shift dito.=)

Kaya everything is so quiet here. Except for the pussy cat looking for a mate!

PW visited our site na daw kanina, thank God I was not there, sana wag na sya mag-visit ulit! I really can't get over him! I am still nakakabahan whenever I hear his name associated with visit.

Rest at last!

11:25AM Supposed to log out and go home but have to extend a bit, my agent Shiela is still closing a sale.

Things that I want to accomplish on my 2-days rest:

1. have my nails done
2. home facial too! (tipid mode)
3. arrange my clothes in my cabinet
4. pile my books
5. change the curtains to orange to contrast our blue painted walls
6. watch DVDs
7. buy an umbrella, hankies...
8. jog and spend some quality time with J
9. pag nadeliver na yung ref will buy groceries.

Happy weekend everyone!

Kapatid!

So maybe now you're thinking why suddenly I become more active in updating my blogspot...it's because I have a secret access at work! Yippy!

I have laptop naman at home pero I'm dead tired when I get home that most of the time I let my sweet thoughts passed by and be forgotten as I go to sleep.

Working in a call center as a 'call girl' is a total package you know? Not everyone is made to be part of this industry...hoppers included. It's a big NO-NO to become a call center hopper!

Taken in my work station January 2010.  Haha! Papakita ko lang...kase parang ang winner ng pink blouse ko dito e.
May 1, 2011 Officially have a decade na ako sa VXI!
Long Live Ailynette!
It was not easy but working with the people you love and compensations equate with the effort you give will difinitely make you stay.

As the saying goes, Choose a job you love and you will never work a day in your life!

And why am I telling you all of this?!

Ahh...because PW will be on our site for a visit next week! Everytime I hear his name I become panicky and jittery! All because of what happened on his 1st visit 2 years ago...I had my 1st IR because of that and I place the account in jeopardy!=( Talking about PCI compliance!

Next week, I have to be ready, as in super ready. But my secret wish and prayer, he come here on our rest day!
***
I'm super busog again...just ate my baon and mongo from Momi Shiela.
***
Few more hours and off na ulit! I'll jog on Monday and spend QT with J =) We'll have spaghetti later daw!

Everytime I'm about to publish my post...di ko alam ang title...di naman pwedeng laging random thoughts lang...

2nd Anniversary Climb: Kapusukan sa Batisan!

My fourth! =)

And we did two mountains in a day!

We started our adventures at exact 1AM of March 6, 2011 after spending our first night in a very windy beach of Pundaquit.
Thanks to that North Face Brimmer Hat I'm wearing it allowed me to withstand the scorching heat of the sun!
All geared up and ready with my gatorade, head lamp and a happy and excited heart we started our adventure. We traversed Mt Pundaquit and reached the summit at 3AM, it was light and fast. We took a quick nap while waiting for little sunshine to allow us to witness the beauty that surrounds us. It was magnificent! The view on top was very virginal.=) Parang first time and me ganun pala!

My attempt to immortalize the moment on top using my mobile phone.
This is my buddy Rhexy.Allow me to say that this experience  made our friendship stronger!
BAGTAS 2nd Anniversary Climb, Mt Pundaquit, Mel, Jen, Joan, Mau, DJ, Kuya Rommel Cortez, KC, Carlo, Arma, Amiel and Rhexy.

Then we continue our journey and traversed Mt Talisayen...we were delayed for two hours as planned.

BAGTAS MOUNTAINEERING CLUB.

Reaching the summit of Mt Talisayen was like another heaven, the view was epic, something that you just can see on postcards.
This shot will not give justice to this beauty. You have to see it yourself!

The real pain came when we we're going down Mt Talisayen, since we were late than expected, we traversed in broad daylight, there were no established trail, and no trees to protect us from the harmful and painful rays of the sun. It was really draining.

To my exhaustion I was able to sleep under a small tree. I so much love that baby tree! =) Thank you for the shelter. An hour spent with you gave me hope and the strength to continue.
My dying feet! They badly need a good rest before going to another fight.
Since I only brought 1.5 litters of Gatorade I need to make super tipid my supply.  I was super exhausted that while walking naiisip ko na si Moses and his staff! Ang weird! Super thank you talaga at super timing ang pagkaka-aksidente ni Rhexy sa may maliit na mga puno kami nahinto...or else...I don't know kung ano gagawin ko if ever mahimatay sya. God is so good to us! =)
Bakit di kita nilagyan ng sunblock at nung 1.5 liters na water  na iniwan ko sa tent?!

Ang classic, I warned you _____, but you never listened!
On top of Mt Talisayen.
The water in the nearby batis helped us quenched our thirst and fueled us to continue our fight. Thank you batis, thank you baby puno and super thank you kuya guide! You were so good. God will bless you more!=)

Despite all the hirap...everything was worth it when we reached Talisayen Beach!

We had our promised bon fire!
I can't explain kung bakit kelangan kong pahirapan ang sarili ko...maybe simply because I'm competing againts myself and enjoying this while I still can. Habang wala pa akong rayuma and kaya ko pa. I never thought I will enjoy mountain climbing and who would have thought na sa arte kong to...kaya ko pala! Ako yun e...dapat ganun!  Never allow anyone dictate you kung hanggang saan ka lang. We are all capable of doing anything we think we cannot. We are who we are.

BAGTAS MOUTAINEERING CLUB, 2nd Anniversary Climb, Mt Pundaquit via Talisayen Cove, March 5-7, 2011. Take a Peak!

Very Important Lesson: Never forget to pack your digicam fully loaded and lots of sunblock and extra bottled water...just in case!

'til our next climb!
