I am lucky and blessed to have Cha, Joyce, Ate Chana, April, Tin, Abby, Jo and my whole APBKlasmeyts they are always there to back me up. We were like a family. Some will say that their happiest moment is in high school...but i beg to differ...mine is in college.I just so love how La Salle mold their graduates. When I will have a child of my own...definitely s/he will become a Lasallian.
What made my college days the best is the fact that I am in a very limited budget; I have no expensive phone; branded clothes; no car nor family business to brag; what I only have is my fighting spirit and my little wisdom that when we are in the portals of our soon-to-be Alma Mater--we are all equal! So the spirit is there! No pretensions! That is the most important ingredient to survive...knowing who you are.
And I am not your regular college student...active ako! I involved myself in different organizations. Meetings, organizing university events, seminars, proposals...everything! I was an expert. And I enjoyed doing more of these things rather than attending my 7am class! Spearheading events is better that checking those little microbes in the water...=) Having your proposals approved or disapproved after you walked the entire University for one signature...will give you that natural high, the feeling that you are doing something beneficial for the growth of mankind! I just so love the smell of our old admin...it is our little haven. And i just remember our "boards"...happy college days! If you are still in high school, soon to enrol in college or now in college but and soon to graduate...and YOU happen to read this...it is destiny! YOU HAVE get yourself involve in your college or university. Do not just use your free time...flirting, drinking or going to the mall! Be productive! After you graduate...you have all the time to flirt and drink! With your own money! Like what I said if you're paying attention...play your roles right! Always give your best!
After college...you will forget everything you learned in Biochemistry, in Advance Calculus, in Physics, Anatomy and Physiology, Microbiology...you will only remember who allowed you to copy their answers in the lab quiz or who made your papers in Ethics! Eventually, if you do not pursue your course in Medicine or in Law...you will work out of your field! Trust me! I know! Kaya...make the most out of it! Do not be a bookworm! Have a life...but do not spend all your life partying! For sure before you finish your 4 or 5 year course may baby ka na! Be wise and be bold! College is fun! It's a roller coaster ride...haha! Ay hindi pala...parang bump car...swabe lang...short and easy, you just have to know how to drive and navigate!
Friends from college will forever etched in your life, alam mo kung bakit? Kase mature option na yun na sila ang gusto mong i-friends. Ibig sabihin you chose to use your freedom of choice! ang galing di ba?
